Tuna tabbouleh

Ingredients :

  • 200g couscous semolina
  • 1 cucumber
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 can of natural tuna (around 150g)
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • The juice of a lemon
  • A few sprigs of parsley and mint
  • Salt and pepper

Step-by-step preparation for stress-free production:

  1. Preparation of the semolina: Pour the semolina into a large salad bowl. Add the same volume of boiling water, cover and leave to swell for 5 minutes. Then fluff the semolina using a fork.
  2. Preparation of vegetables: Meanwhile, wash and finely dice the cucumber, tomatoes and red pepper. Drain the tuna.
  3. Assembling the tabbouleh: Add the vegetables and tuna to the semolina. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Chop the parsley and mint, add them to the salad and mix well.
  4. Seasoning: Add salt and pepper to taste, then mix again.
  5. Refrigeration: Cover the salad bowl and let the tabbouleh rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Service : Serve this easy tuna tabbouleh chilled, as a starter or as a main course for a light meal.
