Bibimbap Recipe: Culinary Journey to South Korea
Ingredients
- 300 g ground beef
- 1 cup sushi rice, cooked
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 zucchini, julienned
- 100 g blanched spinach
- 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Korean chili paste (gochujang)
Preparation
- Beef marinade: Mix the ground beef with the soy sauce, sugar, sesame seeds and sesame oil. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
- Preparation of vegetables: Separately sauté the carrot, zucchini, spinach and mushrooms in a little oil with a pinch of salt.
- Cooking beef: Sauté the marinated beef until cooked through.
- Assembling the Bibimbap: Divide the cooked rice into 4 bowls. Arrange the vegetables and beef aesthetically on top of the rice. Add a fried egg to the top of each bowl.
- Service : Serve the Bibimbap with a tablespoon of Korean chili paste (gochujang) on the side, to mix before enjoying.
