Apple Cookies: crispy and tasty recipe

Discover our recipe for apple cookies, a delicious and original dessert. These cookies have the particularity of being both crispy and soft, thanks to the addition of pieces of fresh apple.

Apple cookie

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Servings: 12 cookies

Ingredients :

  • 1 apple
  • 200g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 80g soft butter
  • 100g of sugar
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

1. Preheat the oven

Start by preheating your oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).

2. Preparing the cookie dough

In a salad bowl, mix the soft butter with the sugar. Add the egg and continue mixing. Add the flour, yeast, cinnamon and salt. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous paste.

3. Add the apple

Peel and core the apple, then cut it into small cubes. Gently incorporate them into the dough.

4. Shaping cookies

On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place walnut-sized balls of dough. Space them well as they will spread out when cooking.

5. Cooking

Bake for 15 minutes. The cookies should be golden brown but still soft when they come out of the oven. Let them cool on a rack.

And there you have it, your apple cookies are ready to be enjoyed! They will keep for several days in an airtight container.
